After the successful drum recording, it was time to add the vocals. On Tuesday May 24th 2022 I found the way to Mack Music, where vocal recording was scheduled. Suffering from a sore throat for quite a while now, my expectations where rather low and I didn’t think that I could manage recording the rather high pitch vocal lines at all.
But as usual, Mack found the right mixture between motivation and dictatorship and brought the best out of my voice. Always happy having such a challanging side-kick, managing every situation no matter what. But still, the whole recording took more time than I am usually used to when providing the vocals, so after 3 hours the vocals, ad-libs and choirs we finally had a wrap.
Despite the rather poor beginning, I am more than happy with the result. Female vocals will be recorded in the USA with a yet surprise guest (stay tuned for further infos about her, soon), so the slong is slowly evolving.
